The Stamford Public Schools is pleased to announce that we have put together a variety of professional learning opportunities to assist you with utilizing Promthean ActivBoards and curriculum-based flip charts to support and enhance the delivery of classroom instruction. These professional learning activities include online Promethean ActivLearning classes, webinars and after-school, in-person ActivBoard training presentations.

• The online classes that are currently available include:

• Introduction to ActiveInspire Primary (.3 Technology CEUs)

• Introduction to ActivInspire Studio (.3 Technology CEUs)

• Level 1 Skills Course (1.1 Technology CEUs)

Prior to participating in these online courses, participants must:

• Complete and sign the CEU Equivalent form (copy attached)

• Submit it to your school administrator for approval and his/her signature

• Forward the signed form to the Director of Professional Learning for approval.

Please note, you are encouraged to submit this form electronically whenever possible. 

In order to be eligible for technology CEUs relative to the online ActivLEarning classes, participants must:

• Have a pre-approved CEU Equivalent from that has been signed by the Director of Professional Learning.

• Enroll and complete all components of each tutorial and related assessments.  Directions are attached.

• Submit to the Director of Professional Learning a copy of each Promethean ActivLearning certificate earned for each online class along with a copy of the pre-approved CEU Equivalent request form.

• Online Promethean ActivLearning webinars.  The contents, schedule, location and presenter information in addition to the technology CEU value will be documented on EZTraxx. We encourage you to check the course catalog on EZTraxx on a regular basis for further information.
